HETTIE’S HOUNDS

Hi, I’m Lydia, the owner of Hettie’s Hounds.

I have over 6 years experience working with dogs; all starting with dog walking and sitting. My earlier experience taught me so much - dog communication, body language, group dynamics, and breed traits (to name a few).
I then studied and shadowed local dog trainers, before I began supporting owners and their dogs with my love of training, sharing my experiences with them.

As part of my services, I also support dog trainers and small businesses with their branding and content creation through logo design, photography, videography and social media support.

The last 2 years of my career have been dedicated to hands on experience working alongside incredibly driven, complex, and intelligent working dogs; Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds.
During this time I have also been furthering my academic studies; I hold both Level 3 and Level 4 Canine Hydrotherapy with gait analysis training. This helps to give a full picture of how to work alongside dogs of all shapes and sizes.

My approach is simple: no wasted time, no unrealistic expectations. Just practical training, that fits your lifestyle, and creates results that last.
